Years 2021 to 2023 - "Transforming A Post Modern into Modern Elegance"

The thirty-year-old building, boasting post-modern architecture with stone cladding, stands as a testament to a bygone era. Yet, beneath its outward appearance lies the beating heart of Singapore's latest telecommunication data center.

 

In an ambitious endeavor to meld the past with the present, Y2G has undertaken meticulous Alteration and Addition (A&A) and Facade retrofit works, intending to breathe new life into the structure while preserving its operational integrity.

Y2G's thoughtful approach is evident in the selection of a shimmering light champagne-colored aluminum cladding, harmoniously complemented by a matte gun-metal dark grey. This combination not only imparts a subtle sense of luxury but also pays homage to the building's post-modern golden architectural roots and its context.

The aim of the A&A works is not to erase history but to elevate it with elegant timeless architecture, enhancing proportions and elements, without altering the existing glass.
